Job summary

Cornerstone Defense is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer III in Reston, VA to design and maintain secure development pipelines across AWS and other clouds. You will work with cross-functional teams to embed security into code, tests, and deployments, ensuring compliance and rapid delivery of mission-critical software.

Qualifications

• Experience integrating security into the software development lifecycle.
• Expert in DevSecOps practices and scalable pipelines.
• Proficiency with cloud security across IL5-IL6+ domains.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP and NIST frameworks.
• Hands-on with IaC and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate security across dev, sec, and operations lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain IaC templates with secure defaults.
• Perform security assessments, code reviews, and pen tests.
• Monitor logs and respond to security incidents.
• Lead incident response and contribute to security docs.
