Job summary

Harris is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security into software development, CI/CD, and cloud operations. You will design secure pipelines, automate security gates, and ensure scalable, compliant infrastructure across cloud platforms.

You will mentor engineering teams on secure coding, IaC security, and SDLC best practices, collaborating with security, operations, and development to shift security left and reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps with strong security focus.
• Experience integrating automated security gates into CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins).
• Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, Go) and IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance with integrated security gates (SAST/DAST/SCA).
• Architect and harden scalable, compliant cloud infrastructure.
• Manage container security (Docker, Kubernetes) for deployments.
• Mentor teams on secure SDLC and IaC security.
• Stay current with DevSecOps trends and incident response automation.
