EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain production-grade data pipelines and platform infrastructure in an AWS data lakehouse. You will work with data engineers and other teams to ensure reliability, security, and scalability across the lifecycle.

This remote, distributed role emphasizes automation, IaC, and best practices in CI/CD, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards across teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software or data engineering.
• 3+ years building production pipelines and infrastructure.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals (testing, code review, version control).
• Hands-on AWS experience: Step Functions, Lambda, S3, Glue, IAM, CloudWatch.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation pipelines across AWS environments.
• Implement CI/CD automation for packaging, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with data engineers to operationalize workloads in the lakehouse.
• Apply infrastructure-as-code to create reusable, tested constructs.
• Define monitoring, alerts, and remediation strategies for services.
