Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join the Platform Services team. The role focuses on delivering DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities in a hybrid setting across multiple U.S. locations, with onsite work as needed.

This role will be a member of the Platform Services team within the Raytheon Digital Technology Organization and will report to the Platform Services Manager. Engineering Digital Solutions supports a portfolio of Engineering Solutions, as well as other various software capabilities. Users of the portfolio are located across the United States, in both Unclassified and Classified Environments. This position is Hybrid where you will work onsite on a regular basis and may require some travel.

As a member of the Platform Services team, you will help the Digital Technology Organization to deliver critical capability to Raytheon Engineering, focusing primarily on DevSecOps offerings, with some involvement in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE), Digital Engineering Environments (DEE) and On Demand Compute (ODC) capabilities.

What You Will Do

• Work with Raytheon Engineering and the Platform Services team to develop and deliver new DevSecOps, MBSE, DEE, and ODC capabilities.
• Sustain existing capabilities (e.g., create upgrade packages, improve existing automation, etc.)
• Provide support for Unclassified and Classified Environments.
• Leverage technical expertise to provide input on future strategies and roadmaps.
• Assist with maintaining our approved container catalog.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience.
• Experience creating and maintaining Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Experience with common software development applications such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Coverity.
• Experience with Containers (Docker, Podman, Singularity, etc.) and Git.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience working with DevSecOps environments in a Department of Defense capacity.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience with data visualization to support environment monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working directly with end users & customers.

Salary

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
