Job summary

I2X Technologies is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to join our Boulder, CO team in a fully onsite role. You will lead DevSecOps practices across multiple projects, architect secure-by-design solutions, and build robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure to meet stringent security and mission requirements.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in defense/space environments, deep Linux administration, and strong automation skills across IaC and container platforms.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI
• 10+ years of professional experience in defense, space, or aerospace environments
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong Linux (RHEL) administration and scripting (Bash, Python) with automation
• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Java, C#, Python, Go, JavaScript/TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration (Kubernetes with RKE2, OpenShift, or Rancher) and managing binary/container registries

Responsibilities

• Lead DevSecOps initiatives across multiple enclaves and projects
• Architect, implement, and maintain secure cloud/on-prem environments with IaC tools
• Design, build, and operate automated CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls
• Implement and manage container workloads using Docker and Kubernetes
• Provide Linux systems administration in classified or mission-critical environments
• Integrate security into the SDLC and mentor developers on security best practices
• Establish observability to support reliability and incident response
• Drive remediation of vulnerabilities aligned with NIST and DoD guidance
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams
• Prepare security documentation for reviews and readiness events
