Job summary

HyerTek, Inc. is seeking a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer to own the software supply chain and delivery pipeline for federal solutions.

You will manage secure CI/CD pipelines, build hardened container images, integrate security checks, and ensure accreditation in Azure Government enclaves and DoD environments. Hybrid on-site near Fort Meade, MD with 2-3 days in accredited facilities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps/DevSecOps, strong GitHub and Azure DevOps skills, Kubernetes experience, SBOM

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on DevOps/DevSecOps in security-sensitive environments.
• Knowledge of GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps configurations and policies.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD in GitHub Enterprise and Azure DevOps.
• Experience building secure container images with hardened base images and non-root runtimes.
• Production Kubernetes experience (AKS/OpenShift) and deployment config.
• Experience integrating automated security into pipelines (code, dependencies, secrets, containers).
• Familiarity with SBOM generation, artifact signing, provenance, and controlled promotion.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve secure CI/CD pipelines across repositories and environments.
• Build and maintain secure containerized applications for Kubernetes platforms (AKS/OpenShift).
• Automate security and compliance checks within development pipelines and address findings.
• Manage artifacts, SBOMs, signing, provenance, and promotion between environments.
• Manage secrets/configuration using approved vault tools and IaC.
• Automate RMF/ATO evidence, monitoring, and security reporting.
• Collaborate with developers, cybersecurity, and operations to reduce vulnerabilities.
• Create technical docs and runbooks for operations and handoffs.
