Job summary

IT Labs seeks a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to join a globally distributed team focused on AI, cloud, and data-driven delivery for financial services. You will build secure CI/CD pipelines, manage IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation), and orchestrate containers at scale across cloud platforms.

The role requires 5–10 years in related domains, strong AWS expertise, and hands-on K8s experience. EU-based candidates preferred for this remote, full-time position.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, security controls, networking, and container platforms.
• Experience designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines for complex cloud-native applications.
• Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration of containerized workloads in enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with security scanning tools, vulnerability management, and compliance practices.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and reliability practices for production systems.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure automation workflows.
• Prior engagement in large-scale enterprise environments and mission-critical systems.
• Candidate must be located in an EU member country.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, automated CI/CD pipelines tailored for AI applications and enterprise delivery environments

- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation across cloud platforms

- Embed automated security scanning, vulnerability detection, and compliance guardrails directly into the software delivery lifecycle

- Manage containerization strategies, orchestration environments, and Kubernetes clusters, including EKS and AKS

- Administer cloud infrastructure permissions, identity access controls, and secure networking configurations across environments

- Establish robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure high availability, operational visibility, and platform uptime

- Collaborate with enterprise IT and security teams to support penetration testing, incident readiness, and secure network boundaries

- Support secure and scalable deployment of AI services, cloud-hosted applications, and containerized workloads in production environments

Required Skills & Experience

- 5–10 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure engineering

- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, security controls, networking, and container platforms

- Experience designing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines for complex cloud‑native applications

- Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code, especially with Terraform or CloudFormation

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and orchestration of containerized workloads in enterprise environments

- Familiarity with security scanning tools, vulnerability management, compliance controls, and secure software delivery practices

- Experience with monitoring, logging, alerting, and reliability practices for production systems

- Hands‑on experience with Git, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure automation workflows

- Prior engagement in large‑scale enterprise environments and mission‑critical systems

- Candidate must be located in an EU member country

- Excellent communication skills in English

Nice to Have
