Job summary

Cole Engineering Services, Inc. seeks a DoD DevSecOps engineer to research, develop, implement, and train DevSecOps processes across programs.

The role includes automating builds, tests, deployments, and documentation in VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and AWS environments; migrating legacy capabilities and balancing hybrid cloud resources. You will collect and present metrics, support business development with DevSecOps expertise, and backfill or transition between programs.

Qualifications

Experience implementing DevSecOps, DevOps, or IT automation across multiple teams.
Knowledge of cloud best practices and hybrid cloud design.
Experience with VMware, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and AWS.
Knowledge of or ability to learn Kubernetes, GKE, OpenShift, VMware Orchestrator, and AWS.
Experience with Java enterprise web services.
Ability to write and maintain automation scripts.
Configuration management and version control of scripts.
Bachelor's or Associate degree in a technical field; 5 years' experience preferred.

Responsibilities
