Job summary

CDM Smith Inc. is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team in the United States. You will operate at the intersection of cybersecurity and DevSecOps, safeguarding software systems that support critical water utilities and infrastructure.

You will collaborate with engineering and development teams to embed security controls, perform vulnerability assessments, and drive secure development practices to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or a related field and 6 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced security monitoring and analyze complex alerts and traffic anomalies.
• Lead response efforts for complex incidents including forensics and root-cause analysis.
• Design and execute vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and simulated attack scenarios across infrastructure and applications.
• Remediate vulnerabilities with IT and development teams and strengthen secure coding practices in the SDLC.
• Review security controls and regulatory compliance, leading remediation efforts.
