Job summary

Trinnex is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join the Security Team in Minnesota. You will operate at the intersection of cybersecurity and DevSecOps to protect critical software systems supporting water utilities and infrastructure.

Focus areas include securing the software development lifecycle, embedding controls, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence. You will collaborate with engineering to safeguard systems communities rely on, while guiding security best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; equivalent experience considered.
6+ years of cybersecurity experience.
Equivalent directly related experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

Conduct advanced security monitoring and develop custom detection rules.
Lead complex incident response (APTs, data breaches) including forensics.
Design and execute vulnerability assessments and penetration tests across infra and applications.
Remediate vulnerabilities with IT and development teams; strengthen secure coding in SDLC.
Review security controls for regulatory compliance and lead remediation.
Research threat actors; develop threat intelligence and defense strategies.
Mentor junior analysts and contribute to team capability growth.
Support enterprise security strategies aligned with business objectives.
