Job summary

IBM Consulting seeks a senior solution architect to own the PDE Factory across U.S. federal pursuits.

You will lead architecture, staffing plans, basis of estimate, proposal technical content, and code challenges, guiding pursuits within the capture structure and coordinating with BD and practice partners. You will drive the IRAD program, steer the roadmap to refactor the software factory with agentic AI, and deliver reference architectures, demos, and assets for client engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technology services with 5+ as lead architect on U.S. federal pursuits and programs in DevSecOps, platform engineering, or secure software delivery.
• Designed and built a Kubernetes-based DevSecOps or software-factory platform; hands-on with hardened images, SBOMs, policy as code, and IaC.
• Led technical proposal content and code-challenge/orals teams on federal pursuits with documented wins.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead GTM technical delivery on federal civilian, DoD, and IC pursuits for the DevSecOps offering and for Application Operations proposals.
• Act as technical anchor through the procurement lifecycle: RFI/RFP responses, technical and management volumes, compliance matrices, reviews, code challenges, and orals.
• Partner with BD and capture leads to shape opportunities and translate win themes into architecture discriminators.
• Lead IRAD on the agentic software factory: scope projects, secure funding, deliver results, and convert outcomes into new solutions and assets.
• Own the technical roadmap to refactor the software factory with agentic AI across provisioning, policy generation, and Day-2 operations.
• Represent the offering at client briefings, industry days, and partner engagements; produce reference architectures, solution briefs, and demo environments.
• Mentor architects and senior engineers; set engineering and communication standards.
