Job summary

Byte Systems, a subsidiary of VTG, is seeking a Senior/Expert Systems Admin (DevOps) to design, deploy, and secure scalable infrastructure across AWS, CI/CD, and container platforms. The role includes database sizing, server security, and orchestration with Kubernetes, GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins pipelines, and robust monitoring.

You will maintain Linux/Windows systems, implement VPNs, SSL/TLS, and help scale services for development, testing, training, and production.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience with SQL databases.
• 4+ years of Linux or Windows administration.
• 2+ years of Kubernetes experience.
• 2+ years of Elasticsearch experience.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, provision, and secure AWS resources; assist with database sizing and security.
• Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins).
• Design and manage Kubernetes clusters for development to production.
• Run vulnerability scans, patch systems, manage VPNs, and manage SSL/TLS certificates.
• Maintain software architecture and drive scalable, secure infrastructure.
