Job summary

DataHub is seeking a DevOps/SRE Engineer to scale DataHub Cloud and enterprise deployments, driving reliability, performance, and automation across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.

We’re looking for 5+ years in SRE/DevOps, strong AWS/GCP/Azure skills, containerization with Docker/Kubernetes, IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, and proficiency in Python/Java. This remote role offers a path to influence enterprise AI-native data systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Good understanding of monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Platform Development: influence deployment capabilities and upgrade/rollback processes; implement monitoring/health checks; enable self-healing and automated remediation.
• Platform Reliability and Operations: establish SLAs/SLOs; lead incident response and post-mortems; optimize performance, capacity planning, and cost; collaborate with teams for reliable delivery; improve on-call practices and runbooks.
