Job summary

Blue Lake Search, LLC. in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Senior DevOps/Release Engineer to own release engineering across multiple teams, coordinating Azure PaaS deployments and ensuring secure, scalable delivery.

You will migrate pipelines to GitHub Actions, create repeatable templates, enable self-service tooling, and support night releases, while strengthening CI/CD, automation, and reliability across the org. Must leverage PowerShell, Python, Bash and C#/.NET expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, release engineering or cloud engineering roles with strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Strong automation mindset with a focus on delivering repeatable, scalable processes.
• Azure platform as a service expertise, including function apps, App Service, networking and Key Vault.
• Deep GitHub Actions experience, plus Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Experience running infrastructure, .NET and Maven deployments in production.
• Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Java, Node.js, TypeScript.
• Knowledge of CI/CD principles and agile delivery practices.
• Willingness to support night releases up to 2–3 nights per week.

Responsibilities

• Own release engineering across multiple teams and coordinate cross-team deployments.
• Build and improve automated deployment paths for Azure-based apps and services.
• Migrate pipelines and repos from Azure DevOps to GitHub Actions and create reusable templates.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions for secure, scalable delivery.
• Troubleshoot build and deployment issues across development teams.
