Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to set technical direction for secure, reliable software and infrastructure delivery across multiple teams in Denver. You will lead a modernization of delivery platforms, govern Pulumi-based IaC, CI/CD standards, release safety, and developer enablement while applying AWS Well-Architected principles.

The role requires 8+ years in DevOps and 3+ years leadership, with AWS or Google Cloud experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required.
Eight (8) plus years experience in DevOps or a related role.
Three (3) plus years leadership responsibility.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, or Google Cloud.
Experience with deploying and maintaining a cloud-based microservice infrastructure.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, best practices, and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, etc.)

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the DevOps team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Oversee design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and tools.
Collaborate with software development and IT operations teams to automate processes.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.
Ensure security and compliance of DevOps practices.
Monitor KPIs related to DevOps processes and report findings.
