Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC in Austin, TX is seeking a hands-on DevOps Technical Lead/Engineer with deep expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, CircleCI, Argo CD, New Relic, Python, and Bash. You will design and operate cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes deployments, applying GitOps, observability, and automation.

You will troubleshoot production issues, collaborate with development, QA, security, and platform teams, and drive reliability, security, and deployment efficiency

Qualifications

• Hands-on DevOps experience with AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD
• Strong knowledge of observability and incident management
• Experience with GitOps, automation, and production reliability

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI.
• Manage Kubernetes deployments using Argo CD and GitOps practices.
• Deploy and operate production workloads on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Automate infrastructure, deployment, monitoring, and operational processes.
• Implement observability with New Relic, including dashboards, alerts, monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and deployment issues.
• Improve system reliability, scalability, availability, security, and deployment efficiency.
• Develop automation scripts using Python and/or Bash.
• Participate in incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Work with Kubernetes components including Pods, Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Namespaces, and RBAC.
• Apply DevSecOps practices and security controls.
• Use AI-assisted development/coding tools for scripting, troubleshooting, testing, documentation, and code reviews, with appropriate testing, security validation, and human review.
