Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Equities Electronic Trading team. The role focuses on building trusted technology products in a secure, scalable way and delivering impact through deep technical expertise.

The position involves setting up and maintaining a continuous integration environment, automating testing workflows, and ensuring end-to-end integration across front, middle, and back-office systems in a fast-paced agile setting.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced knowledge of Unix scripting, Python, and Java for automation and monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, AI/ML, or mobile tech disciplines.
• Scripting to automate development and testing tasks (Shell/Perl/Python).
• Creating and automating Test Strategies/Test Plans based on functional & non-functional requirements.
• Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently with little oversight.
• Practical cloud native experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a framework for continuous integration environments, driving its adoption and evolution.
• Automate testing processes and any manual workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Integrate with various trading front office, middle office and back office system
• Manage release processes, provide environment support, and offer production support as needed.
• Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for various exchanges, markets, and dark pools.
• Test and validate individual applications and end-to-end integration.
• Works very closely with stake holders and clients and update, configure, change the trading application and downstream peripherals.
• Car ry out Client , Venue Certification and Connectivity for various exchanges/markets/dark pools.
