Job summary

Sunayu, LLC is recruiting a Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer for on-site work at a contractor site in MD. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure, collaborating with Security, Platform, and customer teams.

You will automate deployments, maintain CM practices, and lead Agile ceremonies while delivering robust, scalable solutions across dev, test, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Significant experience administering enterprise Linux/RHEL infrastructure.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or comparable automation tools.
• Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and source-controlled infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting across OS, networking, storage, virtualization and cloud environments.
• 10+ years system architecture experience.
• 10+ years managing/monitoring AWS cloud and virtualized servers in a PaaS environment.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile and DevOps.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Perl, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Support the development lifecycle of platform architecture, deployment and debugging.
• Build a release pipeline for fast, safe production deployment.
• Maintain CM systems (GIT) with branching/merging strategies.
• Act as technical lead for an Agile team and participate in ceremonies.
• Automate release deployments across development to production stacks.
• Set up new sites/apps via Puppet/Ansible configuration management.
• Maintain patch tracking and documentation (Confluence/Jira).
• Design and maintain web service infrastructure and deployments.
• Analyze service stack and recommend improvements.
• Automate processes to streamline capabilities.
