Job summary

Artha seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to support its Video Engineering environment. You will focus on reliability, observability, troubleshooting, and operations for video platforms and services. The role requires hands-on Splunk expertise and prior experience with video delivery environments.

As part of a team of engineers, you will manage cloud infrastructure, containerized workloads, and cross-functional collaboration. Strong communication under pressure and a proactive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Video platforms experience in a streaming/video delivery environment.
• Hands-on Splunk experience for production monitoring, log analysis, alerting and root-cause analysis.
• Strong AWS/cloud experience, Kubernetes, containers, microservices, and Linux-based systems.
• Experience with observability tools to support highly available production systems (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, OpenSearch).
• Ability to investigate production issues by analyzing telemetry and logs and partnering with engineering and operations teams.
• Scripting and automation experience to support production operations and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of production video platforms and services.
• Monitor health and proactively identify production-impacting issues.
• Use Splunk and observability tools to analyze logs and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support containerized workloads in AWS/cloud environments (Kubernetes).
• Collaborate with developers, video engineering, and operations to resolve complex issues.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, automation, and operational processes to boost reliability.
• Participate in incident response and assist with escalations as needed.
