Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a DevOps Engineer 4 to provide a reliable, highly available platform orchestrating microservices in a modernized operational system. The role focuses on infrastructure automation, platform operations, cloud services, CI/CD, and system reliability in a largely on-site SCIF environment.

Requirements include active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, a related degree, 12+ years of experience (or 10+ with a relevant master's), and Security+ CE certification.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scripting.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph and CI Polygraph within 7 years.
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD-equivalent experience required.
• Security+ CE certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop IaC and scripts to automate tasks and provision services.
• Patch, harden, and maintain Linux systems, primarily RHEL.
• Configure and tune Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines with GitLab runners and Argo CD.
• Oversee AWS cloud environments and ensure system reliability.
• Work on-site in a SCIF and collaborate with stakeholders.
