Job summary

DCCA is seeking a DevOps Engineer 3 in Maryland to join a veteran-owned IT team delivering government-grade solutions. This role requires active TS/SCI w/ Poly, extensive systems engineering, and hands-on automation across CI/CD pipelines, cloud, and on‑prem environments.

You will lead Agile ceremonies, shape release strategies, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to optimize reliability, security, and performance in complex systems.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI w/ Poly clearance required.
• 10+ years in an Agile development environment.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD.
• Experience with Puppet and Ansible for configuration mgmt.
• Strong Linux administration and Windows system administration.

Responsibilities

• Support the development life cycle of platform architecture, deployment and debugging.
• Build release pipelines for fast, safe production delivery.
• Lead an Agile team and participate in ceremonies.
• Automate deployments across dev/test/stage/prod stacks.
• Set up sites/apps via Puppet/Ansible and manage CM tools.
• Maintain and document Confluence/Jira usage.
