Job summary

Abile Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer on a 10-year contract to provide user-facing and data center IT services for an Intelligence Community customer.

The role involves automating deployments, cloud/on-prem infrastructure, security, and continuous improvement across development, test, and production environments. The candidate should have 8+ years of experience, TS/SCI with ability to obtain CI Poly, and strong skills in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, and CI/CD tooling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience.
• US Citizenship required.
• TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain CI Poly.

Responsibilities

• Automates and optimizes service deployments.
• Integrates with enterprise authentication services.
• Establishes and improves system monitoring within secure environments.
• Architects, builds and maintains On-Prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Maintains and improves infrastructure; auto-scaling and cost optimization.
• Administers production, staging and development environments.
• Manages server logs and monitors security/incidents.
• Monitors system performance and resource usage.
• Maintains build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
• Applies configuration management for revisions, patches and hardening.
• Drives security initiatives and access control.
• Coordinates with A&A Teams on security requirements.
• Maintains designs/configurations documentation.
• Tracks task completion and readiness for automation.
• Participates in SAFe and Scrum ceremonies.
• On-call support will be required.
