Job summary

Abile Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer for a 10-year contract supporting an Intelligence Community customer. The role involves automating deployments, building On-Prem and cloud infra, and enforcing security and reliability across development, test, and production environments.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance, and strong skills in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, GitLab, and CI/CD practices. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of years of experience and education.
• Experience with container images and platforms (Kubernetes / Docker / OpenShift).
• Strong understanding of DevOps and software development processes.
• Knowledge of GitLab or other CI tools and pipelines.
• Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns.
• Experience with Python, Bash and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of network technologies, load balancers, firewalls, and infrastructure design.
• US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Automates and optimizes service deployments.
• Integrates with enterprise authentication services.
• Monitors and improves system monitoring within security guidelines.
• Architects, builds and maintains On-Prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Maintains and improves build and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
• Applies configuration management to maintain software revisions and patches.
• Ensures security and reliability through best practices and vulnerability testing.
• Supports SAFe and Scrum teams and may provide on-call support.
