Job summary
Nyla Technology Solutions in Columbia, Maryland, is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to support the Analytic Mission Integration project. You will harden and optimize core virtualized and containerized environments, manage NetApp storage, and sustain VMware vSphere clusters to ensure mission availability.
The role requires an active TS/SCI polygraph clearance and a strong background in Linux systems, Kubernetes orchestration, and IaC practices.
Qualifications
- Troubleshooting & problem-solving across virtualized hardware, storage networks, and operating systems.
- Linux System Administration: CLI, management, and deployment.
- Storage Administration with NetApp storage and data management.
- Virtualization: VMware and vSphere administration.
- Container Management: Rancher for container ecosystem management.
- Access to SYS1 level system access.
- Rotational on-call support to back up the team when required.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline with 14+ years of experience OR High School Diploma / GED with 19+ years of hands-on experience in lieu of a degree.
