Job summary

Searchability Aerospace & Defense seeks a senior DevOps engineer to design, deploy, and sustain infrastructure for mission-critical SIGINT systems at Fort Meade. You will manage Linux, Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and network design across Arista/Cisco devices.

Responsibilities include software deployment with Docker/Kubernetes, maintaining highly available clusters, and providing on-call support with travel as needed. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Twelve or more years of experience across DevOps, DevSecOps, software deployment, Linux administration, containerization, and cloud deployments.
• Recent hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cluster orchestration, and Docker.
• Strong RHEL and CentOS administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python and Bash.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and virtualized environments.
• Experience with LAN, CAN, WAN, Arista, and Cisco networking.
• Active Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Active CCNA certification.
• Willingness to provide operational call-in support and travel when required.
• A current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Administer, upgrade, install, integrate, and configure systems supporting SIGINT capabilities.
• Manage RHEL/CentOS environments and automate infrastructure using Python and Bash.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab; implement infrastructure as code with Ansible or Terraform.
• Deploy software with Docker and Kubernetes; maintain highly available clusters.
• Support hybrid cloud and virtualized environments; administer LAN/CAN/WAN networks.
