Job summary

Searchability Aerospace & Defense seeks a senior DevOps engineer to design, deploy, and sustain infrastructure for mission-critical SIGINT systems at Fort Meade. You will manage Linux, Kubernetes, hybrid cloud, CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and network design across Arista/Cisco devices.

Responsibilities include software deployment with Docker/Kubernetes, maintaining highly available clusters, and providing on-call support with travel as needed. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Twelve or more years of experience across DevOps, DevSecOps, software deployment, Linux administration, containerization, and cloud deployments.
• Recent hands-on experience with Kubernetes, cluster orchestration, and Docker.
• Strong RHEL and CentOS administration and troubleshooting experience.
• Scripting and automation experience using Python and Bash.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitLab, Ansible, or Terraform.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud and virtualized environments.
• Experience with LAN, CAN, WAN, Arista, and Cisco networking.
• Active Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
• Active CCNA certification.
• Willingness to provide operational call-in support and travel when required.
• A current Top Secret/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.

A technology-focused engineering organization is seeking a senior DevOps engineer to deploy, integrate, and maintain infrastructure supporting mission-critical Signals Intelligence systems. The team delivers Quick Reaction Capability solutions that modernize advanced SIGINT platforms in response to evolving operational requirements.

This role covers the full system lifecycle, including design, integration, testing, cybersecurity, field deployment, operations, and sustainment. Engineers work across Linux systems, Kubernetes clusters, hybrid cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and complex network architecture.

DevOps engineers administer, upgrade, install, integrate, and configure systems supporting SIGINT survey, collection, and geolocation capabilities.

Engineers manage RHEL and CentOS environments, automate infrastructure using Python and Bash, build CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitLab, and implement infrastructure as code using Ansible or Terraform.

Additional responsibilities include deploying software with Docker and Kubernetes, managing highly available clusters, supporting hybrid cloud and virtualized environments, and administering LAN, CAN, and WAN networks using Arista and Cisco devices.

The role also includes operational call-in support and travel for system installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
