Job summary

The Clearing House is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer focused on CI/CD tooling for on-prem and AWS infrastructure. You will collaborate with developers, QC, and infrastructure teams to build out secure CI/CD pipelines and maintain current DevOps tooling.

Responsibilities include implementing Policy as Code, managing sensitive data with Vault, and enabling automated security gates within pipelines while supporting a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) for multi-region environments.
• Expert level Kubernetes management including cluster hardening, service meshes, and custom controllers.
• Design and scale self-healing pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins for GitOps workflows.
• Deep AWS/Azure architecture focusing on cost optimization, security, and high availability.
• Full stack telemetry implementation using ELK, Grafana, or Datadog for proactive health monitoring.
• Experience transitioning monolithic architectures to scalable microservices.
• Security integration (SAST/DAST) and compliance-as-code into the development lifecycle.
• Lead DevSecOps initiatives automating vulnerability scanning and IAM controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and enforce Policy as Code to ensure infrastructure standards.
• Lead integration of automated security gates and vulnerability management into CI/CD.
• Manage sensitive data with Vault, Secrets Manager, and RBAC.
• Architect multi-region, DR-ready environments on AWS to minimize downtime for banking apps.
