Job summary

Doctronic Inc. in New York City is hiring a DevOps Engineer to own and scale our infrastructure for millions of patients and enterprise partners. You will manage AWS-based systems, Kubernetes clusters, and GitOps with Argo CD while enhancing CI/CD pipelines and security practices.

You bring 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, strong AWS/Kubernetes skills, and a passion for reliability, automation, and cost efficiency in a fast-moving healthcare tech startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, Helm, and Argo CD.
• Proven experience designing and operating highly available, cloud-native production infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of Linux administration, networking, cloud security, and IaC.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability platforms.
• Experience supporting AI/ML workloads or modern distributed systems is a strong advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve Doctronic's AWS infrastructure (ECS/EC2/VPC/IAM) and cloud networking for scale.
• Operate and scale production Kubernetes clusters with Helm-based deployments.
• Implement GitOps with Argo CD for secure, auditable releases.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform and automate workflows.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Deploy and optimize AI/ML infrastructure and large language models for performance and cost.
• Collaborate with engineering to deliver production-ready AI platforms.
• Design secure connectivity and monitor cloud networking and security practices.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
• Improve reliability via incident response and proactive optimization.
• Automate tasks and infra management with Bash and Python.
