Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer in Texas (USA). This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape cloud and CI/CD practices for multiple SaaS products, including web and mobile applications. You will work on designing scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient infrastructure while mentoring and guiding other engineers. Accountabilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, primarily with Terraform
  • Optimize application architecture for scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency across multiple cloud providers (GCP, Azure)
  • Lead best practices for observability, including logging, monitoring, and alerting to ensure system health and rapid debugging
  • Mentor and guide engineers in technical decisions, workflow improvements, and development practices
  • Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to support product development teams and reduce manual effort
  • Enforce security, performance, and reliability best practices within the infrastructure
  • Serve on-call during incident response and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
  • Promote adoption of modern dev tools and LLM-assisted workflows to enhance productivity
Requirements
  • Senior-level experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as Terraform
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms, including GCP and/or Azure
  • Deep understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools
  • Experience optimizing development workflows and collaborating with product and engineering teams
  • Ability to decompose complex problems, lead technical discussions, and make balanced decisions
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; adaptable to change and motivated by challenges
  • Knowledge of configuration management using Ansible
  • Ability to develop infrastructure tools and services in Go is a plus

  • Experience with health & insurance software or SFTP/file transport best practices
