Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a DevOps professional for a hybrid role based at our Newtown Square, PA office. You will support automated deployments in lower and production environments and ensure secure, centralized code management across the stack.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of programming experience, strong knowledge of SVN, Git, Azure, Artifactory, SQL Server, Windows Server/IIS, and scripting with PowerShell or Unix shells, plus fluency in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of programming experience.
• Comfort with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment.
• Knowledge of fundamental software engineering principles.
• Experience with source code management tools (e.g., SVN, Git, Azure).
• Familiar with Artifactory or a repository manager product.
• Experience with database schemas, mappings for SQL/Oracle/Sybase.
• Experience administering Windows Server 2012/2016, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Experience in build and release processes and source code management.
• High level language knowledge (Java, JavaScript, C#, VB).
• Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Unix, shell).
• Ability to speak and write fluently in English.

Responsibilities

• May assist in production support.
• Deploys new modules, upgrades and fixes to production environments.
• Moves modules to libraries, completes forms and version control documents.
• Installs and configures solutions.
• Develops and/or implements reusable components.
• Works on moderate to complex tasks in one or more projects.
