Job summary

Frontline Education is seeking a DevOps Engineer/Team Lead to guide a team in Wayne, PA with remote or hybrid options. You will shape infrastructure strategy, CI/CD pipelines, and secure, scalable deployments across environments.

The role collaborates with Security, SRE, and Development teams to build future-ready frameworks and standards for infrastructure, deployment, and security. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tooling and cloud development patterns.
• Strong understanding of security tenets and practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code and Blue/Green deployments.
• Experience with feature flag frameworks and phased rollouts.
• Analytical thinker who can propose creative solutions.
• Able to collaborate across teams including Security, SRE and Development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide a team of onshore engineers and analysts in development activities.
• Construct and deliver performance reviews to direct reports according to cadence.
• Apprise manager regarding team-related status, needs, challenges, etc.
• Cultivate positive relationships with direct reports.
• Analyze current technology and develop steps to improve and expand them.
• Assist other engineers in proposing solutions and demonstrations.
• Provide clear project goals and oversee timely execution.
• Maintain hardware and software for projects with development teams.
• Participate in continuous feedback with DevOps and enterprise architecture teams.
• Work with development teams to engineer infrastructure solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• evangelize cutting-edge, sustainable automation for multi-environment deployments.
