Job summary

Cyware is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate secure, scalable infrastructure across AWS and GovCloud. You will own CI/CD pipelines and deployments, ensuring FedRAMP/GovRAMP compliance and remediation efforts.

You will work with security, GRC, and development teams to maintain evidence for audits while managing Kubernetes workloads and IaC tooling. The role supports both cloud and on-prem deployments in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Platform/SRE.
• 2+ years operating workloads in AWS GovCloud.
• Experience with FedRAMP/GovRAMP/DoD IL5 authorization.
• Ability to obtain security clearance; active or eligible.
• Strong knowledge of NIST 800-53 controls.
• Experience with Kubernetes and GitOps.
• CI/CD pipeline engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud and on-prem deployments.

Responsibilities

• Work with development teams to deploy projects into production AWS and AWS GovCloud.
• Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI).
• Operate and harden infrastructure within FedRAMP High/GovRAMP IL5 boundaries.
• Own environment segmentation, secrets management, access controls (NIST 800-53).
• Manage Kubernetes workloads, Helm versioning, and release promotion across environments.
• Build scalable infrastructure services in AWS for cloud and on-prem deployments.
