Job summary

OpenTalent is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer to design, build, and operate the tooling that supports our software development and delivery lifecycle. You will drive CI/CD improvements, cloud-native deployments, and automation across teams to raise reliability and developer experience.

You will own pipeline design, security automation, observability, and incident response, collaborating with Architecture, Security, and Services teams in a remote US/Canada setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and Docker in cloud-native environments.
• Ability to improve deployment workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Bitbucket, Gradle).
• Improve build reliability and pipeline performance.
• Support development teams in delivery workflows.
• Troubleshoot complex build and deployment issues.
• Standardize pipeline patterns across teams.
• Improve deployment repeatability and auditability.
• Support Kubernetes-based deployment and runtime environments.
• Develop automation for infrastructure and deployment workflows.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and configuration-as-code practices.
• Support GitOps and declarative deployment models.
• Improve scalability and maintainability of cloud-native systems.
• Collaborate with Managed Services and Services teams.
• Integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Support vulnerability scanning, dependency checks, container image scanning, secrets management, and policy enforcement.
• Collaborate with Security and Architecture teams to improve secure software delivery.
• Help ensure pipelines support auditability and compliance requirements.
• Promote secure-by-design practices within DevOps and development teams.
• Improve observability through metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting.
• Support incident analysis, root-cause investigation, and operational improvements.
