Job summary

EIS Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for remote US-based work. You will own the full delivery chain from cloud foundation to production, coordinating AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and platform services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on DevOps, cloud engineering, platform engineering, SRE, or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of AWS architecture and services, including EKS, VPC, IAM, Route 53, and networking.
• Terraform module design, state management, code review, and controlled change.
• Jenkins pipelines, pipeline-as-code, Groovy automation, and GitLab CI/CD integration.
• Linux administration and networking expertise.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solutions from AWS infrastructure, network design, CI/CD to deployment and production support.
• Design secure, highly available AWS environments, including connectivity and hybrid-cloud integrations.
• Build reusable Terraform modules and maintain infrastructure as code with drift control.
• Develop and operate Jenkins pipelines and Groovy automation; manage GitLab integrations.
• Deploy containerized services on Amazon EKS with Docker, Helm, and YAML config.
• Automate Linux/config management with Ansible for services like GitLab/Jenkins/Nexus/SonarQube/OpenGrok.
• Operate GitOps deployments via Argo CD across dev/pre-prod/prod; use cloud registries for artifacts.
• Implement AWS networking, DNS, load balancing, identity, and least-privilege access.
• Build monitoring/logging dashboards; diagnose incidents across cloud, platform, and delivery layers.
• Embed security and quality controls; mentor engineers and evolve internal developer platform.
