Job summary

Lyra Health is seeking a Sr. DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our cloud infrastructure. You will focus on modernizing tooling, expanding our production EKS footprint, and optimizing AWS datastores, while automating core platform tasks.

As a remote role within the United States, you will collaborate with engineering, data science, and ML teams to create frictionless experiences for developers and drive reliable, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure role focused on public cloud (AWS required).
• Experience with AWS services: EKS, SageMaker, EC2, ECS, VPC, IAM, KMS, RDS, ELB/ALB, MWAA, Identity Center.
• Strong IaC practices with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience with Helm templates/packages.
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
• Hands-on Kubernetes multi-tenant management (EKS).
• Proficient in Python, Go, or Bash for automation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement infrastructure on AWS using Terraform/OpenTofu and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and ML teams to improve cloud infra and dev experience.
• Build and maintain internal platform tools, templates, and self-service CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure and operations tasks with scripting languages.
• Enforce cloud security, IAM policies, and governance within pipelines.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Ensure data privacy compliance and secure handling of information.
• Work with engineers to remediate security vulnerabilities.
