Job summary

15Five is hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to own cloud infrastructure, databases, CI/CD, reliability, security operations, and our growing AI platform. You will design and implement scalable systems and drive incident response across engineering squads.

In a small, high-ownership team, you will work with IT, security and business teams, lead on-call rotations, and shape architecture decisions while delivering reliable, secure, cost-conscious operations that enable rapid product delivery across

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE or infrastructure engineering.
• Deep hands-on AWS and Linux experience and production Kubernetes.
• IaC with Terraform (Terragrunt a plus) and Helm.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Configuration management with Ansible.
• Strong scripting in Python and/or Bash.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and secure AWS/EKS infrastructure.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and release engineering.
• Manage Datadog observability and on-call rotation.
• Maintain disaster recovery backups and DR plans.
• Ensure security/compliance: IAM, secrets, network.
• Collaborate with engineering and security teams.
