It takes the right team of people, working together on the right solutions for the customer. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be a key driver to make this happen.

In this position, you will be part of the team building best in class health care reporting service. Learn and grow using AWS Infrastructure, DevSecOps, Agile Scrum, incremental delivery philosophy with highly supportive peers constantly sharing subject matter expertise.

Our core work hours are 10am - 4pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone.

Responsibilities:

1. Implement best in class cloud-based solutions in AWS using infrastructure as code.
2. Deploy, setup, and run infrastructure configurations for various AWS services, utilizing Infrastructure as Code such as Terraform.
3. Engage with technical stakeholders including but not limited to application development, networking, infrastructure, information security, risk, enterprise identity and access management, and security operations.
4. Enable and optimize the automation of application and infrastructure environments.
5. Collaborate to build cloud infrastructure, with an understanding of AMI, Containers and serverless functions.
6. Develop, maintain and improve continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for delivering features, fixes and system updates in development, integration and production environments.
7. Set up, integrate, and maintain a scalable, stable set of CI/CD tools to support development, testing, and security scanning.
8. Implement Amazon CloudWatch, Splunk and other third party monitoring solutions to provide continuous monitoring capabilities, track all aspects of the system, infrastructure, performance, application errors and roll up metrics.
9. Analyze functional and non-functional business requirements, translate them into technical operational requirements, and propose CI/CD pipelines with tools and plugins.

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science: Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.
2. 7+ years of experience in a technical role, preferably DevOps or Data Engineering.
3. 5+ years of experience in setting up CI/CD Pipelines.
4. 5+ years of experience in DevOps/Agile/Scrum environments and development.
5. 5+ years of experience and an expert in Disaster Recovery, providing hands-on support for production resiliency activities (backup, restore, disaster recovery).
6. 5+ years of strong hands-on experience with configuration management, cloud orchestration and automation tools with AWS environments.
7. 5+ years’ experience with provisioning and managing infrastructure as well as applications in AWS cloud environments.
8. 3+ years of experience supporting data engineering technologies including Spark, Scala and EMR.
9. 2+ years hands-on experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation and/or Amazon CDK.

Professional Skills:

1. Outstanding writing and verbal communication abilities.
2. Meticulous attention to detail.
3. Working knowledge of Linux.
4. Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
5. Candidate must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and work must be performed in the US.
6. Must be able to travel approximately 5%.

Preferred Skills:

1. Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline.
2. AWS Data Engineer, Solution Architect or Developer Certification.
3. Design and implement automated monitoring capabilities to generate dashboards with trends, useful messages, and immediate notifications, and provide real-time metrics using Splunk or similar services.
4. Wide technology experience that may include cloud architecture, cloud migrations, applications development, data science and engineering, networking, security, storage, analytics, or machine learning.
5. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures such as NIST, FISMA, FedRamp and Common Criteria regulations and standards.
6. Familiarity with the MLOps, machine learning lifecycle and product landscape, for example: Amazon SageMaker, Apache Airflow, Looker, Trifacta etc.
