Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a DevOps Engineer – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our Space Sector in Aurora, CO. You will operate and improve on-prem DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring while maintaining strict security and compliance standards.

The role requires an active Top-Secret/SCI clearance and the ability to obtain a full polygraph. Experience with GitLab CI/CD, Nexus, NiFi, and Kubernetes on-prem is essential. Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM with 2+ years of experience (Level 2) or 5+ years (Level 3).
• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance required at time of application.
• Experience maintaining GitLab CI/CD in an on-prem environment.
• Experience with Nexus repositories and NiFi, and on-prem Kubernetes operations.
• Strong Linux sysadmin skills and automation scripting ability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain existing on-prem DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage Nexus repositories, backups, and access controls.
• Maintain NiFi infrastructure and patching; support Kubernetes clusters.
• Enhance monitoring with Grafana/Prometheus and refine dashboards.
• Apply security/compliance controls and participate in change management.
