Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly technical Senior DevOps Engineer to join the Compiler Engineering team. You will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines for LLVM‑based toolchains, and build automated systems to benchmark performance and resource usage.

You will deploy and manage scalable build farms across hybrid‑cloud and on‑prem environments, collaborating with compiler developers to accelerate builds and ensure reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Linux/Unix internals and Bash scripting.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and familiarity with C/C++.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker containerization.
• Familiarity with compiler toolchains (LLVM) is a plus.
• Active contribution to or management of open‑source projects is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high‑performance CI/CD pipelines for compiler development.
• Develop automated systems to track and visualize performance metrics.
• Provision and manage scalable build farms across hybrid‑cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Manage bare metal and virtualized testing for diverse ISAs.
• Collaborate with compiler developers to optimize build systems and reduce feedback times.
