Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly technical Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Compiler Engineering team. You will design and optimize automated pipelines for building, testing, and tuning LLVM-based toolchains, enabling faster iteration and higher reliability.

You will work across hybrid-cloud and on-prem environments to build scalable CI/CD, performance benchmarks, and data-driven insights that accelerate software development and compiler improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Linux system optimization and Bash scripting.
• Proficient in Python for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with LLVM-based toolchains is a plus.
• Contributions to open-source compiler projects are desirable.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving in complex systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain high-performance CI/CD pipelines for compiler buildouts.
• Develop automated performance benchmarks and visualization dashboards.
• Manage build farms across hybrid-cloud and on-prem environments.
• Collaborate with compiler and infrastructure teams to optimize builds.
• Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of development pipelines.
