Job summary

AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. seeks an experienced cloud/container architect to design and implement containerization strategies and Kubernetes deployments across the enterprise.

You will collaborate with development, operations, and cloud providers to craft scalable migration plans and governance frameworks. The role requires 5+ years in the field, Kubernetes expertise (CKA preferred), and hands-on experience with at least one service mesh, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and modern CI/CD

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional relevant experience
• Kubernetes experience (CKA preferred)
• Experience with at least one service mesh (Istio, Consul, etc.)
• Experience with Linux environments and services like Redis/ElasticSearch
• Familiar with logging/monitoring and alerting platforms (Prometheus, Alertmanager)
• Experience with AWS or Azure at an enterprise level
• Experience with CI/CD processes and technologies
• Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Implement containerization and Kubernetes capabilities with scalable architecture
• Collaborate with development, engineers, and cloud providers on migration strategies
• Lead architectural discussions to meet business requirements
• Engineer scalable, highly available solutions
• Coordinate with Developers and Operations to resolve integration challenges
• Recommend tools and methodologies with proofs-of-concept
• Break down complex systems into manageable subsystems
• Create and maintain technical documentation and use Git for versioning
