Reinventing Geospatial, Inc. (RGi) is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized apps using Kubernetes. You will design and maintain DevOps pipelines, implement CI/CD solutions, and integrate security into pipelines.

The role requires 8+ years of DevOps experience, TS/SCI not required here, but on-site work is expected and collaboration with software and system engineers is essential for automated testing and documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related discipline; 4 years additional experience may be substituted for a degree.
• 8+ years of DevOps experience minimum.
• Experience with source configuration management tools such as Git.
• Extensive understanding of and ability to work without assistance using Kubernetes.
• CI & CD development experience with Bash, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Experience with automated deployment technologies such as CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform.
• Cloud technologies deployment experience.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, web services and SQL databases.
• Must be willing to work on-site 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and automate the deployment, scaling, and monitoring of containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring cluster performance, security, and infrastructure reliability through continuous integration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Design, implement and maintain multiple DevOps pipelines.
• Implement CD & CI solutions to support rapid development and integration.
• Integrate static code analysis and other security mechanisms into pipeline.
• Design and apply hybrid deployment strategy (cloud and local virtualized).
• Work with software and system engineers to apply automated test and documentation processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues.
• Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management of release products.
