Job summary

Coforge is hiring a DevOps Engineer (Expert) to design and manage scalable, containerized infrastructure with Kubernetes, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines. The role is remote from Poland under a B2B contract.

The ideal candidate has strong Java (Spring Boot) collaboration with developers and excellent skills in GitLab, Helm, and AWS. German language proficiency is required (C1/C2).

Qualifications

• Expert level DevOps with Kubernetes, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitOps tools and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable, containerized infrastructure using Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Deploy and manage applications using Helm/Helmfile.
• Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement monitoring and observability (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch).
• Work with distributed systems including Kafka and Camunda.
• Manage databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with developers working on Java (Spring Boot) applications.
• Drive test automation and deployment automation practices.
• Ensure system performance, reliability, and security.
• Work with GitOps tools like ArgoCD (good to have).
• Basic understanding of frontend frameworks like Angular (nice to have).
