Job summary

RPMGlobal seeks a skilled platform engineer to design, deploy, and maintain a full-stack containerized microservices architecture in a mission-focused environment. You will work on a production big data pipeline on Kubernetes with Elasticsearch and Kafka, enhancing CI/CD processes and collaborating with security and operations teams.

The role requires hands-on Kubernetes experience, Linux proficiency, and a strong background in DevOps tooling.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) with required years of experience or equivalent.
• Strong Linux experience and container/Kubernetes hands-on.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab.
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, triage, and maintain a production big data pipeline using a microservice architecture on Kubernetes.
• Enhance, improve, and maintain CI/CD and DevOps scripts and processes.
• Design, develop, and support scalable infrastructure including physical and virtualized environments.
• Use Helm to configure Kubernetes deployments in support of new feature requirements.
• Collaborate with systems engineering, architecture, development, security, operations, and integration teams.
• Participate in Agile release planning, scrum of scrums, bug triage, design sessions, and related meetings.
