Emerson is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer in Austin, TX to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for PACSystems software, enabling automated build, test, and deployment across client applications and real-time components.

You will work in a cross-functional team, embracing AI-assisted development and infrastructure-as-code to improve reliability, speed, and developer experience while adopting the latest industry practices.

Qualifications

7+ years of DevOps or software engineering experience; advanced pipeline design and delivery.
Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
Proficiency with Git and source control practices; collaboration in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

Collaborate in Agile activities; provide feedback on pipeline designs.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for PACSystems software portfolio.
Enable AI-assisted and spec-driven development workflows in the lifecycle.
Automate manual processes via scripting, IaC, and test automation.
Improve development environment, tooling, and processes continuously.
Stay current with cloud-native practices and AI-enabled automation trends.
Take a proactive, learning-first approach to engineering challenges.
