Rocketlab is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer II at their Optical Systems site in Chantilly, VA. This role supports the U.S. Space Development Agency’s project by automating CI/CD pipelines and managing deployments for advanced technologies. You will work with AWS, containers, and participate in Agile sprints, ensuring processes align with security and IT policies.

Based at our Optical Systems site in Chantilly, VA, you will support Tranche 3 of the U.S. Space Development Agency’s (SDA) Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture (PWSA) by automating CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications for advanced Electro‑Optical (EO/IR) technology.
This position may require prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, computer work, and occasional exposure to moderate levels of noise, dust, and fumes in production areas.
