Job summary

Baer Group is actively seeking a Senior DevOps Developer for a 12-month federal project in St. Louis, MO. You will design, implement, and support modern DevOps solutions, focusing on IaC, CI/CD pipelines, containerized applications, and cloud-native deployments.

The role requires US citizenship with an active Secret clearance. Onsite work Mon-Thu, with W2 or C2C engagement options. This position offers challenging opportunities to optimize automation, reliability, and performance across critical

Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform/Azure Bicep/ARM Templates.
• Experience with Ansible.
• Scripting in PowerShell or Bash.
• Container technologies including Docker/Kubernetes/AKS/Helm/Podman/K3s.
• Creating and managing virtual images with Docker or Packer.
• Building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Automated testing with pytest.
• Strong DevOps principles, automation, and cloud technologies.
• Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain DevOps solutions and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC).
• Automate deployment, testing, and operational processes.
• Build, deploy, and support containerized applications and Kubernetes environments.
• Create and maintain virtual machine and container images.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve automation, reliability, and performance.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on DevOps practices and cloud automation.
