Job summary

Fives DyAG Corp. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join the team in Dallas on a 04+ months contract, onsite. You will architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines, provision Azure analytics services with IaC, and ensure secure, compliant operations for data platforms.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in API development and data engineering, strong SQL, and scripting skills. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and a focus on automation are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of API development and 3rd-party API integrations.
• Strong SQL skills (SQL Server or Oracle).
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Provision and manage Azure Analytics services (e.g., Databricks) via IaC (Terraform, ARM, or Bicep).
• Deploy and optimize Azure data services, monitor data pipelines, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Automate routine tasks and deployments using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Implement IAM, data encryption, and GDPR/ governance compliance within the platform.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver robust solutions.
• Manage change requests, incidents, vulnerabilities, and problem records.

Immediate need for a talented SeniorDevOps Engineer (Exp. In Azure Cloud, Terraform, Databricks). This is a 04+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dallas, TX(Onsite).

Pay Range: $65/hr - $70/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Note: This Job can be out of any of the client location. San Francisco or Cupertino, California, Dallas Texas, Hopkins, MN, Atlanta GA, Charlotte NC.
• Implement CI/CD Pipelines: Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines using tools like Gitlab, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for deploying data pipelines and infrastructure changes.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage Azure Analytics services (Databricks, etc.) through code using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep to ensure consistency and repeatability.
• Platform Operations: Deploy, manage, and optimize the performance and resource utilization of Azure data services, including monitoring and troubleshooting data pipeline failures and performance issues.
• Automation & Scripting: Automate routine operational tasks and application deployments using scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and compliance with data governance policies (e.g., GDPR) within the platform.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts to translate data requirements into robust technical solutions and foster a DevOps culture within the organization
• Change Management Process: Change Requests, CLearPATH, Incidents, Vulnerabilities, Problem Records.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills;DevOps, Azure Databricks, Azure Cloud, Terraform, Git, GitLab CI/CD, Python / Bash / PowerShell, SQL, Data Engineering Fundamentals, API & Identity/Security
• 4+ years of experience developing APIs and integrating with 3rd party APIs. Strong SQL skills (SQL Server or Oracle).
  Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Bash, Powershell).
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Understanding of workflow automations is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
