Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a DevOps Developer for a major cloud-based application implementation in Massachusetts. This contract role focuses on DevOps, SaaS/cloud environments, system configuration, monitoring, and deployment across multiple development, testing, and production environments with onsite presence four times per month.

You will work hands-on with complex environments, coordinating with development and infrastructure teams to improve deployment and support processes,

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT experience in DevOps, cloud, or SaaS environments.
• Strong experience with DevOps, system administration, and environment management.
• Experience supporting SaaS and cloud-based application environments.
• Experience with configuration, deployments, integrations, and environment management.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting across multiple environments.
• Troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis experience.
• Experience with large-scale enterprise applications and migrations.
• Experience across development, testing, go-live, and post-production environments.
• Understanding of networking technologies including LAN/WAN/VPN, TCP/IP, HTTP, and FTP.
• Experience working with multiple technical teams, vendors, and partners.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support multiple development, testing, and production environments.
• Configure and maintain application environments in coordination with technical teams and vendors.
• Monitor application, infrastructure, and integration performance.
• Support software upgrades, configuration changes, deployments, and maintenance.
• Manage data refreshes across different environments.
• Monitor integrations between cloud applications, legacy systems, and enterprise services.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and lead root‑cause analysis through resolution.
• Support end‑to‑end, integration, UAT, parallel, and go‑live testing.
• Develop and improve monitoring and operational processes.
• Support access, security, and environment configuration.
• Track SLA and operational performance metrics.
• Create technical documentation, procedures, and environment status reports.
• Work with development, infrastructure, security, vendors, and business teams to resolve issues and improve the environment.
• Help transition the solution from implementation into ongoing production operations.
