Job summary

TRAX USA Corp is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to lead automation of Java-based application development and deployment across cloud, hosted, and on-prem environments. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, Docker images, and IaC, while ensuring security and performance.

The role involves collaboration with development, sales, and support teams and contributing to cloud-native technology adoption. The ideal candidate has strong automation, Java, AWS, and ITIL-style production support experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in DevOps with automation and CI/CD pipeline management.
• Proficiency in Java-based application environments and development workflows.
• Hands-on Docker experience and container orchestration knowledge.
• Experience deploying across AWS, hosted servers, and on-premises environments.
• Familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Strong monitoring and proactive issue resolution skills.
• Security best practices for CI/CD, containers, and cloud deployments.
• Experience supporting sales with demos and technical proposals.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Streamline and automate Java-based application development and deployment.
• Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines and container images for Java apps.
• Manage deployments across cloud, hosted, and on-prem environments.
• Implement proactive monitoring and resolve performance issues.
• Ensure security across CI/CD, containers and deployments.
• Document configurations, processes, and architectural diagrams.
• Support customer implementations and pre-sales demos/proposals.
• Collaborate with development, sales and support teams.
